Pen and Ink I did in grade eleven. The theme was 'reflection' and the only rule was that our major needed to include some sort of reflection. This caused me to be overwhelmed with ideas that were near-impossible to render in pen and ink. Gah. Originally there was supposed to be a person reflected in his glasses, then an angel, then some other stuff... It was a long process.

Eventually I decided to get sort of spiritual with it to prevent ruining my drawing. So in his glasses you can read a religious message (ooOOoo) which is actually a reflection of the stain glass window across from him (in case you can't tell from the background he's in a church), these words appear on a stain glass in my church and they always haunt me after I leave. This ended up being rather uncreative, because Christien was actually in a church in the screenshot I used as a reference. @#$%! The stain glass behind him isn't the same as in the picture, though. SO PFFFT!

Took about two weeks of class time plus goofing around on it at home.
